Turning restrictions on Warrego Highway (James Street)

The Department of Transport and Main Roads has installed 'No Right Turn' signs along the Warrego Highway (James Street) between Peachy Street and Ruthven Street intersections.

This results from recent traffic studies undertaken and is part of the Main Roads' ongoing commitment to improve safety for all road users on the roads we manage.

Main Roads has investigated a number of options however the safest and most efficient outcome for traffic now and into the future, is to install these signs.

The 'No Right Turn' signs will apply during peak traffic times, 7.00am to 9.00am and 3.00pm to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday and is only applicable to traffic turning into side streets. Vehicles may still turn right into businesses during all hours.
