Fitzroy - Rockhampton/Emerald

Welcome to the traffic and travel information web page for the Fitzroy Region.

The region covers the Rockhampton, Gladstone and Central Highlands regional councils and Banana shire council and Woorabinda Aboriginal shire council. The region is serviced by the Main Roads Rockhampton and Emerald offices.

The region's boundaries extend from Gladstone and Yeppoon in the east to west of Emerald, and north of Marlborough to south of Taroom.

The 131940 Traffic and Travel Information website is undergoing redevelopment. The redevelopment will be undertaken in a phased approach, with phase one now complete.

The Fitzroy region is currently not connected. Future phases of the website redevelopment will see more traffic and travel information become available from the Fitzroy region and across the state.
