Welcome to the traffic and travel information web page for the Mackay/Whitsunday Region.
The region covers the Mackay, Whitsunday and Isaac regional councils. The region is serviced by the Main Roads Mackay office.
The region's boundaries extend from Bowen in the north to St Lawrence in the south, and from the coast inland to Moranbah, Clermont and the Bowen Basin Coalfields.
The 131940 Traffic and Travel Information website is undergoing redevelopment. The redevelopment will be undertaken in phased approach, with phase one now complete.
The Mackay/Whitsunday region is currently not connected. Future phases of the website redevelopment will see more traffic and travel information become available from the Mackay/Whitsunday region and across the state.
