The region covers the Sunshine Coast, Moreton Bay and Somerset regional councils. The region is serviced by the Main Roads Sunshine Coast and Moreton offices.
The region's boundaries extend along the coast from Noosa in the north to Redcliffe in the south, and from Caboolture to west of Esk.
