North West - Cloncurry

Welcome to the traffic and travel information web page for the North West Region.

The region covers the Cloncurry, McKinlay, Richmond, Carpentaria, Flinders, Mornington and Burke shire councils, Mount Isa city council and Doomadgee Aboriginal shire council. The region is serviced by the Main Roads Cloncurry office.

The regions' boundaries extend from the Gulf of Carpentaria to south of Mt Isa and the Flinders Highway, and east of Torrens Creek to the Northern Territory border.

The 131940 Traffic and Travel Information website is undergoing redevelopment. The redevelopment will be undertaken in a phased approach, with phase one now complete.

The North West region is currently not connected. Future phases of the website redevelopment will see more traffic and travel information become available for the North West region and across the state.
