Operators not complying with conditions set out in the Conditions of Operation Report/Database or the Excess Mass and Dimension guidelines will experience a delay of up to 48 hours or longer.
Also as a result of the road constraints and the height of the safety barriers, a member of the Cardwell Range Alliance project will be required to escort wide loads through the project site.

CARDWELL RANGE REALIGNMENT UPDATE
** Traffic will be restricted to one lane under traffic control and motorists will experience delays of up to 15 minutes between Monday 29 April 2013 and Wednesday 22 May 2013
** Due to the width restriction on the range embankment, it is not possible to sidetrack traffic or maintain two lanes whilst the work crews rebuild the existing pavement
** During these works, wide loads of 4.6m and above will only be able to proceed through the site under a TMR-authorised escort

** A few wet day's in the Burdekin have not delayed the Sandy Corner to Collinson's Lagoon project, we are still scheduled for completion mid 2014
** Haulage trucks enter and leave the project site each day to bring material in for the construction on the tram rail overpass. Speed restrictions have been place on the entire 5km project site, TMR ask all motorist to adhere to these restrictions as Police enforecment reguarly patrol this section of the highway.
** Work has commenced on the construction of the south bound overtaking lane. This work is located just south of Collinsons Lagoon, and progress south until Hoey Road.
** The Driver Reviver Stop at Sandy Corner will be closed until late July 2013. The closure will allow the construction crew to complete pavement and electrical works.
** Motorists are asked to please drive with caution for the safety of our workers
