Wide Bay / Burnett

This district covers the Bundaberg, Gympie, North Burnett, Fraser Coast and South Burnett regional councils and Cherbourg Aboriginal shire council area.

The district stretches from Nanango in the south to Monto in the north and west from Eidsvold to the coastal cities of Bundaberg and Gympie in the east.

    A signed detour will be in place to assist motorists with the changed conditions. Pedestrian access is available via the Quay Street pedestrian walkway next to the Rowers Club.

    Commencing: Monday 27 October 2014
    Concluding:late 2014, weather permitting

    To carry out these works safely and efficiently, traffic controllers, single-lane closures and speed restrictions will be in place as required. Works will generally occur between 6am and 6pm, Monday to Saturday, with every effort made to minimise disruptions during peak times.

    At the northern entrance to Gin Gin.
    Commencing: Tuesday 24 June
    Concluding:late October 2014, weather permitting
    Lane or lanes reduced
    Delays expected. Changed traffic conditions.
    Works are underway to improve roadside drainage and parking facilities. Motorists and the local community should expect changed conditions while works are under way, including changed parking arrangements, reduced speed limits, partial lane closures and other temporary traffic control measures. Motorists may experience some delays if travelling during work hours, and should observe all safety signage and drive to suit the conditions
